Hope Beyond the Wiremesh
A Place Often Forgotten
Behind the walls of Butabika National Referral Mental Hospital, hundreds of men and women struggle daily with emotional pain, trauma, and mental illness. For many, these wire fences are not just barriers of security — they are barriers of loneliness, separating them from the compassion and care that so many take for granted. In a world that often looks away, Hope Channel Uganda has chosen to look closer — to see, to care, and to remember.

This December 20th, 2025, the Hope Channel Uganda family will visit Butabika National Referral Hospital to share “Hope Beyond the Wiremesh.”
This outreach is not just an act of charity — it is a mission of compassion.
It’s about bringing the love of Christ to those who feel forgotten, and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and loved.
Through prayer, fellowship, and simple acts of kindness, we aim to touch hearts and restore hope.
Hope Channel is calling on partners, friends, and viewers to join this mission of mercy.
Your contribution can help us bring comfort and joy to patients and the dedicated medical officers who serve them. We are collecting the following essential items:

Every item, every prayer, every visit will remind someone that they are not forgotten.
“This is not just an outreach — it’s the heart of the gospel in motion.”
Hope Channel Uganda invites all church members, partners, and well-wishers — to be part of this movement of compassion.
Together, we can bring Hope Beyond the Wiremesh — sharing smiles, prayers, and love with those who need it most.

Join us in person on December 20th, 2025, as we deliver hope, healing, and joy.

This is Christ’s love at work.
