TRAVELING MILES FOR JESUS

On March 15^th 2025, Namata Betty traveled 120KM from Sembabule district in western Uganda to come and get baptized after following the Hope for Uganda Series that was being broadcast on Hope Channel and all AWR Radio stations across the country.

After spending months with high blood pressure, Betty’s doctor who thought that Betty was not taking the meds since there was no change in her health condition on trying to investigate Betty vividly informed the doctor that she had recently been attacked at home by armed robbers and everything was taken and a few weeks later before she could recover from the shock her daughter gave birth, with no money to care of them all she couldn’t avoid the stress and hopeless state she was in, startled by her story the doctor referred her to the Adventist media of Hope Channel and AWR.

She kept following the Adventist Media until 2 weeks ago when there was a powerful campaign that was well articulate, and every day after the campaign she would follow up with more readings and she couldn’t comprehend the truth that was unveiling on a daily, when the call for baptism was made, she couldn’t resist.

Not knowing where to go for baptism she decided to picked a phone and called the number that was always read and she realized baptism was going to take place in Kampala, she didn’t have enough money but by God’s grace she managed to travel and get baptized.
