Uganda Union Mission Dispatches Youth Evangelism Team to Agago District

A 14-member youth delegation from the Uganda Union Mission (UUM) set off on Monday morning for Agago District to conduct a week-long evangelistic mission in the Northern Uganda Field.

Precise directives were provided by Mrs. Waiswa, the UUM Youth Leader, detailing the operational structure and vision for the outreach in Agago throughout the week.

Reaching Underserved Communities

In her address to the team prior to departure, Mrs. Waiswa emphasized the critical need to push evangelism into deeper, more remote areas of Northern Uganda where the gospel has not yet been widely preached. She urged the young missionaries to focus their efforts on unreached local communities across the district.

Elder Kugonza Isaac, the UUM Communication Director, officially flagged off the team as they departed Kampala for the northern region.

Underscoring the strategic importance of the initiative, the East-Central Africa Division (ECD) Youth Director is also traveling to Agago to join the 14 youth missionaries on the ground.

Throughout the week, the combined team will carry out community outreach, door-to-door visitation, and public evangelistic meetings designed to strengthen church presence and share the gospel message across the Northern Uganda Field.
